As we said this time last month, Frogar.io is now at a stage where we can really start listening to the community and also start looking to add features to the game that have been suggested by the community. In our first attempts to make this all happen, we've set up two places where you can easily communicate with us and other members of the community, and even collaborate with us while we develop your ideas. So, how can you get involved?
I'll admit that before a few weeks ago, I had always thought that Discord was just an alternative to Skype and that it was nothing special. Since then, @GianniBelloG (one of the first ever community members) has shown me the ropes and has helped me really appreciate the power of the platform. It is awesome!
Anyways, Jake and I are pretty much always on Discord now, so it's a great place to ask us questions about the game. More importantly though, we already have quite a few members of the Frogar.io community on the Discord server, and everyone is friendly, helpful and coming up with awesome ideas! So, if you're looking for somewhere to find a froggy friend, or talk with us and the community about ideas or issues that you're having with the game, then you are more than welcome to tag along :)
You will find the discord server here: https://discord.gg/UJhEhDV
In addition to the above, and with the influx of ideas that we've been getting from the community already, we set up another space for you to officially share your ideas with us and the community, in a way where everyone can vote and comment on your ideas, and also in a way where you get to watch them go through the development process. We've set this up on a project management tool called Trello. You can see the road map here: https://trello.com/b/Hx9iTfVZ
The basic idea is that from this platform no idea is ever lost or forgotten. Not only that, but many of the ideas will rightfully end up in the game based on the voice of the community. You can contribute by simply commenting/voting on ideas shared by the players, or you can become a member of the project and post ideas of your own!
To comment and vote on ideas, you simply need to sign up for Trello. You can do that here. To become a member of the project you either need an existing Trello account, or you can simply send us your email address and we will add you to the project.
Frogar.io is a fun, casual & competitive online game that you can play in your web browser and on your mobile. Play with thousands of players from all over the world, all competing to be the biggest and baddest frog in the bog!
So, don't miss out on the opportunity to join a wonderful community and the potential to make this game into something that you and everyone will enjoy. As always, please like and share this post so that your friends and family don't miss out, and feel free to leave any comments below!
